Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Odo ("the app") is designed to keep your information private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

Data we collect

None. Odo does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data. We do not operate servers that receive your information, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.

Where your data lives

All information you enter — your vehicles, odometer readings, maintenance schedules, service history, costs, and notes — is stored only on your iPhone. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, this data may be included in your own device backup, which is controlled entirely by your Apple account and Apple's privacy practices. Odo has no access to your backups.

Location

If you allow location access, Odo uses your location solely to estimate how many miles you've driven, so it can keep your odometer current and remind you about maintenance at the right time. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your location is never uploaded, sold, or shared with anyone. You can disable location use at any time in the app's settings or in iOS Settings, and use manual odometer entry instead.

Notifications

Odo can send local notifications to remind you when a service is due. These are generated on your device and are not sent through any external service.

Children's privacy

Odo does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
