How does automatic mileage tracking work?

When you drive, Odo estimates the miles you've covered and keeps your odometer up to date. It works best when your iPhone connects to your car through CarPlay or Bluetooth, so the miles are logged to the right vehicle. You can also enter your odometer reading manually at any time.

Why does Odo ask for location access?

Location is used only on your device to estimate how far you've driven, so reminders arrive at the right time. Your location is never uploaded, shared, or stored anywhere outside your iPhone. You can switch to manual-only tracking in Settings if you prefer.

How do I add a vehicle?

Open the menu on the dashboard and choose to add a vehicle. Pick your make, model, and year, give it a nickname, and enter the current odometer reading. Odo builds a maintenance schedule for you automatically.

Where do the maintenance schedules come from?

Odo includes factory-recommended service schedules for 24 manufacturers (model years 2018–2025), compiled from official owner's manuals. You can edit any interval or start from common presets instead.

Can I track more than one car?

Yes. Add as many vehicles as you like. Each keeps its own odometer, schedule, and full service history.

Does Odo support kilometers or other currencies?

The current version uses miles and US dollars. Support for additional units and currencies is on our roadmap — let us know if you'd like it.

Is my data private?

Completely. All of your data stays on your iPhone. There's no account, no sign-in, and nothing is sent to a server. See our privacy policy for details.

What do I need to run Odo?

An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. CarPlay features require a CarPlay-equipped vehicle.
